Canada’s Radio Act requires that “a licenser may not broadcast … any false or misleading news.” [LINK]
We need this in the U.S. If you say it on a news program, you should be liable for it, and if you’re purposely lying, your program should be pulled. You can have your own ideas, but not your own facts.
